SUMMARY:C3E's Women in Clean Energy Symposium & Awards
DESCRIPTION:Clean energy\, environmental justice\, and social equity are at a critical juncture in the United States. All Americans should share in the benefits of the energy transition regardless of income\, race\, ethnicity\, gender and geographic location. These benefits include sustainable energy technologies\, new job opportunities\, healthier people and a healthier planet. At this year’s 10th U.S. C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium & Awards\, thought leaders will discuss the latest advances in the energy transition\, this year’s U.N. Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26)\, what lessons the United States can learn from other countries\, and what U.S. successes are replicable in other countries\, especially those with developing economies.

SUMMARY:NOWRDC's 2021 Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium (NOWRDC) invites you to attend their free and virtual R&D Symposium 2021. Each day of the Symposium will feature a theme\, project panels\, and keynote speakers. Project panels consist of presentations from each of the 40 offshore wind R&D projects that NOWRDC has funded. These projects focus on a range of technical areas within offshore wind and ultimately are aimed at lowering the overall levelized cost of energy for offshore wind in the US. \nBuilding on the success of last year’s Technical R&D Symposium\, the upcoming 2021 event will provide updates on exciting technical innovations and discoveries made under NOWRDC projects. The Symposium will also provide a forum for collaborative\, insightful discussion among leaders in the U.S. offshore wind industry.

SUMMARY:NECA's Annual Power Markets Conference
DESCRIPTION:Making Our Way Through Uncertain Times\nOverarching policies have been generally established for the electricity sector and local economies in New England with respect to decarbonization goals. However\, as we sit here today – 20 to 30 years away from the finish line – we are still unsure of the road we will take.  At this year’s Power Markets Conference\, we will hear from market participants\, stakeholders\, and experts from around the world about the ways we can maintain a reliable and affordable electricity system through markets and market-like mechanisms.  Moreover\, we will discuss if\, when\, and where we will have to rely on non-market approaches\, as well as the consequential tradeoffs that arise for consumers and electricity sector participants. \nPanel I: Race to Net Zero – An International Perspective \nPanel II: Developments in New England
