SUMMARY:EBC's 9th Annual “Talking Trash” Conference: Southern New England
DESCRIPTION:Solid Waste Management in Southern New England continues to evolve and adapt in response to an ongoing reduction in local disposal capacity and increased emphasis on material diversion\, reduction\, and the grind to achieve “zero waste”.  This year’s EBC 9th Annual “Talking Trash” Conference for Southern New England will include an update on the “State of the State” and how our waste management habits\, patterns\, and trends are changing to support new initiatives and goals. \nTo supplement this discussion point\, we will have speakers from the public discuss some of the challenges that are faced when attempting to implement some of the new legislation that is being promulgated\, as well as speakers from the private industry to discuss how their operations are changing and what they are doing to meet new corporate ESG goals. \nThe Conference will conclude with a robust panel providing ample opportunity for questions and discussion among presenters and conference attendees. \nThis Conference is a peek into the future of solid waste management in Southern New England and should not be missed.  Solid waste professionals\, facility managers\, municipal leaders\, sustainability leaders\, and anyone else invested in solid waste management is encouraged to attend.
