Regional Collaboration vs. State Sovereignty on Energy and the Environment: Where the New England States Converge and Diverge
NEWIEE’s fifth annual program in the “Women Shaping the Agenda” series was held on Wednesday, July 24 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the University of Massachusetts Boston John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies. The evening began with a lively networking reception sponsored by Ameresco. Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey delivered her keynote address for the sold-out event and afterward engaged the crowd with a Q&A session. The keynote was followed by a panel discussion featuring Kate Bailey of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, Carol Grant of the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources, and Hannah Pingree of the Maine Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future.
