It’s a great way to meet new people, sharpen your skills, and help grow the organization. We also welcome volunteers to get involved with their local regional chapter. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
The NEWIEE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee develops strategies to promote and improve diversity through programming, partnership, and investment. The goal of the DEI Committee is the betterment of NEWIEE and the removal of barriers that limit the growth of our field and the people who work in it.

Rising Professionals Committee
The NEWIEE Rising Professionals Committee offers opportunities for personal and professional development of new energy and environmental professionals through leadership, education, and access to a network of accomplished peers. This committee also manages NEWIEE On Campus, which coordinates outreach and panel discussions by NEWIEE members to high school and college students throughout New England. The Up-And-Comers area of NEWIEE’s website offers resources and community for rising professionals and students.
