INNOVATION IN RETAIL ELECTRIC MARKETING: MOVING BEYOND COMMODITY PRICE-BASED COMPETITION
After years with retail electric offerings focused mostly on priced-based competition against utility basic/default service offerings, electric retailers are increasingly offering innovative products that offer choice to consumers. Areas of choice available in New England and other markets include innovation in term length, renewable content, bundled in energy-related services, non-energy benefits and services, and even non-usage products such as fixed price monthly subscriptions and free energy time blocks or days. This webinar will cover recent developments affecting the current diversity of residential, business and municipal/community aggregated offerings in New England and also highlight possible regulatory or business changes that might lead to even more choice in the upcoming years.
SPEAKERS:
Rob Munnelly, Shareholder, Davis Malm
