WEST’s Are You the Science Type? A discussion with women in science
December 9, 2021 @ 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm
WEST has put together a program for high school students, college students, and the broader WEST community. We need more people in STEM careers and want to ensure the next generation has an opportunity to connect with and hear from local STEM professionals. During this time together, participants will watch short video clips, discuss in breakout rooms, and hear from panelists. Join WEST to hear from women in science and get good advice from accomplished role models.
NEWIEE may on occasion take photographs and/or video of event attendees for use in print materials or by electronic methods. Your attendance at any NEWIEE event grants permission for NEWIEE to use these photographs and/or video in its marketing and public relations efforts. Would you like to volunteer to host, speak, sponsor, give a tour, or suggest a NEWIEE event idea? Email Programming Co-Chairs and NEWIEE Directors, Sarah Adams and/or Vivian Kimball. Have an event you would like to cross-promote? Send a short description and related link to Jennifer MacNeil at least 6 weeks prior to your event to ensure that it will be posted in our monthly Friends-of-NEWIEE blast.
