Women’s Energy Network Boston Chapter: Energy Finance Fundamentals – Corporate Finance
Improve your everyday financial literacy with WEN’s Energy Finance Fundamentals. The series will review the fundamentals of financials in the energy sector, covering corporate and project finance, and providing the opportunity to meet finance experts in the industry. Derya Eryilmaz, Ph.D., Vice President of Power Commercialization at Carbon Direct and Boston College adjunct faculty will moderate throughout.
The first event in the series will cover the basics of interpreting corporate financials, including: What can you learn from quarterly earnings calls and Profit and Loss statements? How do tax credits and tariffs show up on the financial statements? and What financial indicators should you look for to understand a company’s health? The session will feature speaker Alessandra Pellegri, Enel North America’s Head of Financial Planning and Control.
