How to Post to the Jobs Board

Posting to the Jobs Board is one of many benefits that NEWIEE offers its Organizational Members. Our Ambassador, Premier, and Classic members are permitted up to 10 active postings at a time. NEWIEE will post relevant opportunities from government agencies as a complimentary service, regardless of membership status. At this time, we are unable to accommodate other requests for complementary posts. All levels of NEWIEE Organizational Membership are available at a 50% discount for academic institutions and non-profit organizations as well as municipal, state, federal, and quasi-government entities.

At this time, posting to the Jobs Board is a benefit we provide only to NEWIEE Organizational Members. NEWIEE is volunteer driven, and we are able to offer programming and events thanks to the financial support we receive from our organizational members and event sponsors. We work hard to ensure that member organizations get tangible value for the money they invest in NEWIEE, and we have heard that the opportunity to recruit within our community is a key reason they stepped up to become members of NEWIEE.

Our Ambassador, Premier, and Classic members are permitted up to 10 active postings at a time. If we receive enough submissions to push your organization above the threshold, we will automatically remove the oldest entries to keep your organization at 10. If we notice two submissions come through with the same job title/URL but different city/state entries, we will combine them into one post.

As an added benefit to our Ambassador and Premier members, NEWIEE volunteers will curate job postings from member websites – up to 5 jobs per month for each Ambassador member and up to 3 jobs per month for each Premier member.

The Jobs Board is managed by NEWIEE volunteers. Submissions are reviewed and published to the site approximately once per week.

Job URLs are checked every 30 days to make sure they are still active. Posts older than 90 days are removed. If you would like something taken down outside of our usual cadence, you can provide an expiration date when submitting the form or email Website Committee Volunteer, Olivia Paradis, at oparadis@exponent.com.

The platform we use can help recover your username and/or password. If you log in successfully but still don’t have access to the form, it’s possible your account hasn’t been associated with your organization’s membership. The NEWIEE account owner at your organization can perform that step, or you can reach out to newiee@newiee.org for help.

We encourage the other organization to join NEWIEE and take advantage of all our member benefits.

You have the option to submit the post using the Job Submission Form for Organizational Members, however the entry we publish in the “Employer” column will be locked to your organization. With that in mind, if you would like to proceed, you can add specificity to the “Job Title” field to inform potential applicants of the correct employer.
