WEN’s Women’s Equality Day Celebration

Celebrate Women’s Equality Day with the Women’s Energy Network! Join WEN for an in-depth discussion on Oscar nominated and award winning movie, Hidden Figures. Hidden Figures tells a story of female mathematicians who sought equality through their vital role in NASA’s early years of the U.S. Space Program. This hour long program will discuss women’s equality and the parallel’s the movie depicts.
NEWIEE may on occasion take photographs and/or video of event attendees for use in print materials or by electronic methods. Your attendance at any NEWIEE event grants permission for NEWIEE to use these photographs and/or video in its marketing and public relations efforts. Would you like to volunteer to host, speak, sponsor, give a tour, or suggest a NEWIEE event idea? Email Programming Co-Chairs and NEWIEE Directors, Sarah Adams and/or Vivian Kimball. Have an event you would like to cross-promote? Send a short description and related link to Jennifer MacNeil at least 6 weeks prior to your event to ensure that it will be posted in our monthly Friends-of-NEWIEE blast.
