NEWIEE Peer Circles Program
NEWIEE’s Peer Circles Program is a six-month mentorship experience open to members of all career types and career stages in the energy and environmental fields. Peer Circles Program is intended to provide a platform for groups of NEWIEE Members to learn from, connect with, and support each other through regular Circle gatherings, discussions, and activities. The Program is a 6-month commitment. We expect participants to meet in person and/or virtually at least once a month. Peer Circles participants are expected to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where members can freely express themselves and engage with others of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints. Additional guidance on how to maximize the Peer Circle experience will be circulated to all the Peer Circles at the start of the program.
Our 2027 Peer Circle program is now accepting applications. Please complete the application by November 23, 2026. Groups will be notified in December, with meetings to kick off in January 2027. If you’d like to serve as a Peer Circles Leader, please indicate that on your application.

Participants must be members of NEWIEE.
2025-2026 Timeline
- November 23: Registration deadline.
- Early December: Peer Circle Leaders Training Session
- Mid-December: Peer Circles Notified by their Leaders.
- January to June: Peer Circles independently arrange their meetings and communications.
- July: NEWIEE Peer Circles Program wraps up. Return the Questionnaire to provide feedback on your experience.
Grouping
The questions contained in the registration survey will help NEWIEE form its Peer Circles. NEWIEE will make best efforts to group individuals according to the responses and preferences provided through the survey. We look forward to your participation!
