AESP Maine’s Energy Efficiency Workforce & Job Market Update
Maine’s clean energy and energy efficiency sectors are growing — and so is the demand for skilled workers, contractors, and community partners across the state. Join us for a timely conversation on where the market stands today and where it’s headed next.
This webinar will cover Maine’s current energy efficiency landscape, in-demand skills, employer needs, and the workforce development efforts underway to meet them. Participants will also hear about EnergizeME Academy — the Maine Residential Energy Efficiency Workforce Initiative — including training pathways in weatherization, building performance, HVAC, and heat pumps.
Led by the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), with support from The JPI Group and HVAC U, this session brings together national expertise and local partnerships in support of long-term workforce growth in Maine.
Whether you’re a contractor, industry professional, educator, workforce organization, community partner, or simply curious about Maine’s growing energy sector, this webinar will give you a clearer picture of the opportunities ahead.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Describe current trends shaping Maine’s energy efficiency and clean energy landscape
- Identify workforce needs, priority sectors, and in-demand skills across Maine’s residential energy efficiency market
- Recognize key training and workforce development efforts supporting industry growth in Maine
