EBCNE’s The Cleanup Crew: Navigating Site Remediation in the Age of PFAS
Join the EBC Site Remediation and Redevelopment Committee and EBC Emerging Contaminants Committee for an interactive webinar featuring a mock contaminated site and a cast of characters representing the client, attorney, consultant, and laboratory. Through a realistic remediation scenario involving a PFAS-contaminated site, participants will follow the regulatory framework governing site investigation and cleanup, while exploring the decision-making process used to determine what requires remediation and how it should be addressed. The program will highlight the distinct roles, responsibilities, and interactions among key stakeholders throughout the remediation lifecycle. Special emphasis will be placed on how the discovery of PFAS can alter technical evaluations, legal considerations, regulatory obligations, and remediation strategies.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.5 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.
