“Going Big” – Pop Up Webinar on the State of Offshore Wind in New England & Beyond

$55Massachusetts and Rhode Island announced the winners of their joint offshore wind auction on September 6. “We’re going big,” said Gov. Maura Healey. The three projects selected will be built south of Nantucket and collectively produce up to 2,878 megawatts of electricity. The projects are expected to generate billions of dollars in economic activity, lower electricity costs, create thousands of union jobs, and position New England for the future of clean energy. Join NECA for a pop up discussion with industry experts to understand what this announcement means and what is going on in offshore wind in New England and beyond.
