From unfamiliar terminology to the complex systems that generate and deliver our electricity\, it’s not always easy to understand how it all fits together. This EBC Energy Resources webinar is designed to make it simple. Speakers will provide an overview of how the New England region gets its power: where electricity comes from\, how demand is managed\, and how the grid is changing to meet future needs. Experts will then walk through the different ways power is produced with short\, engaging presentations and plenty of time for questions. \nThis webinar is perfect for anyone who wants to better understand where our electricity comes from and how it gets to our homes and communities. \nIntended audience: early career professionals\, students\, conservation commission members\, planning board members\, municipal staff and managers\, and anyone interested in better understanding how the New England energy system works. \nGeneral Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (1.5 training contact hours).
