SUMMARY:Women's Energy Network Boston Chapter: Media Training\, With Women (September Session)
DESCRIPTION:Data from Women in Journalism has shown that only 30% of quoted media experts are women. \nWomen’s Energy Network Boston is partnering for a second time with award-winning PR agency With to offer a high-value\, free media training\, that will give more women the confidence to own their narrative. \nWith designed With Women– their program of free media training for women leaders – to empower their attendees to act on the learnings and start leaning into media interview opportunities. By doing this they hope to help change the under representation of women’s voices in the media. In the last 2 years they have trained over 350 women for free\, and they have seen senior women they have trained secure coverage in national media like the BBC\, The Times and Bloomberg. \nThe training is a two hour session run by With’s senior team who have a long history of prepping global spokespeople for media interviews. It covers the three C’s of media training – Confidence\, Clarity and Control. There is space for lots of questions and they will share clips of good and bad media interview practice. If there is time\, and there are willing volunteers\, they provide the opportunity for some 1:1 practice within the session too. \nLocation: online (please RSVP and register via Eventbrite link below) \nCost: Free \nPlease follow the Eventbrite link below to complete your registration\, using Code: WEN. You will receive an email with the link to join the event. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/with-women-free-media-training-for-women-leaders-online-tickets-1345043604629?aff=odcleoeventsincollection&keep_tld=1
