Mark your calendars for the NEWIEE Annual Awards Gala on April 25, 2024! Join us for an unforgettable evening as leaders in the energy and environment sectors from across New England come together to celebrate excellence, leadership, and partnership.
Over fifteen years ago, a small group of women came together to create a place to gather and support each other. Since those early gatherings, NEWIEE has evolved into a vibrant organization dedicated to empowering women and promoting diversity and inclusion in these critical sectors. Throughout our growth and evolution, our commitment to our core values—inspiration, leadership, professional development, and community—remains the same.
The Annual Awards Gala provides an opportunity to honor the achievements and contributions of women who are shaping our sustainable future. Each year, I am inspired by the stories of resilience, innovation, mentorship, and leadership showcased at the gala, and I leave feeling inspired and proud to be part of such an extraordinary community.
This year, we are thrilled that Governor Maura Healey will provide the gala keynote. Governor Healey is a trailblazer who has shattered her fair share of glass ceilings over her impressive career. As Governor, she has assembled an incredible team of women leaders in the Healey-Driscoll Administration and has centered equity, inclusion and sustainability in all that they do. I cannot think of anyone better to kick off our night as we celebrate the trailblazers, rising stars and leaders among us including this year’s awardees: Rebecca Foster, Lissette Andino, Joanna Troy, and Sonali Anderson.
I cannot wait to catch up with friends and colleagues, make new connections, hear from our amazing speakers, celebrate our honorees and marvel at the talent and leadership assembled in one place.
