NEWIEE Peer Circles Program

NEWIEE’s Peer Circles Program is a six-month mentorship experience open to members of all career types and career stages in the energy and environmental fields.

The NEWIEE Peer Circles Program is intended to provide a platform for matching groups of individuals in the energy and environmental sectors, giving them the opportunity to learn from, connect with, and support each other through discussions and activities. This is the third round of the Peer Circles Program.

The Peer Circles Program is a 6-month commitment. You are expected to participate and drive the Peer Circle experience by scheduling in-person and/or virtual discussions and activities at least once a month. Peer Circles will be assigned a Peer Circle leader to help organize the group.

Most important, Peer Circles are expected to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where members can freely express themselves and engage with others of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints. Additional guidance on how to maximize the Peer Circle experience will be circulated to all the Peer Circles at the start of the program.

This Peer Circle cycle will begin in December 2025 and end in May 2026, with feedback questionnaires due back to the Mentorship Committee by the end of June 2026.

Participants will receive an email notification with their Peer Circle assignment in early December 2025. Your Peer Circle leader will reach out to schedule an introductory “kickoff” meeting soon thereafter!
