NOWRDC’s 2021 Symposium

The National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium (NOWRDC) invites you to attend their free and virtual R&D Symposium 2021. Each day of the Symposium will feature a theme, project panels, and keynote speakers. Project panels consist of presentations from each of the 40 offshore wind R&D projects that NOWRDC has funded. These projects focus on a range of technical areas within offshore wind and ultimately are aimed at lowering the overall levelized cost of energy for offshore wind in the US.
Building on the success of last year’s Technical R&D Symposium, the upcoming 2021 event will provide updates on exciting technical innovations and discoveries made under NOWRDC projects. The Symposium will also provide a forum for collaborative, insightful discussion among leaders in the U.S. offshore wind industry.
NEWIEE may on occasion take photographs and/or video of event attendees for use in print materials or by electronic methods. Your attendance at any NEWIEE event grants permission for NEWIEE to use these photographs and/or video in its marketing and public relations efforts. Would you like to volunteer to host, speak, sponsor, give a tour, or suggest a NEWIEE event idea? Email Programming Co-Chairs and NEWIEE Directors, Sarah Adams and/or Vivian Kimball. Have an event you would like to cross-promote? Send a short description and related link to Jennifer MacNeil at least 6 weeks prior to your event to ensure that it will be posted in our monthly Friends-of-NEWIEE blast.
