Meet the Panelists:

Erica Hines
Senior Director
Massachusetts Clean Energy Center
As Senior Director of the Production Tracking System (PTS) Division at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), Erica leads a dynamic team of ten professionals and collaborates with multiple contracted vendors to oversee and continually strengthen the technology platforms supporting Massachusetts’ clean energy programs. Her work helps enable the distribution of more than 26.5 million Renewable Energy Certificates and $6 billion in system-owner revenue by connecting complex data, technology, policy, and operations to meaningful outcomes for the Commonwealth’s clean energy community.
Over more than 13 years in the clean energy sector, Erica has helped develop, implement, and modernize systems and business processes supporting major state incentive programs, including the Solar Renewable Energy Certificate, Alternative Energy Certificate, and Clean Peak Standard programs. Her leadership has centered on building strong teams, improving customer experience, optimizing business processes, and transforming complex operational needs into scalable technology and data solutions.
Yet Erica’s professional journey extends well beyond clean energy. Over a 30-year career in management, she has continually embraced opportunities to gain experience, evolve, and lead through change. That commitment to growth led her to earn both an MBA and a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) while balancing senior leadership responsibilities and family. Her path is a testament to the idea that career development is rarely linear and that leadership can evolve at every stage through curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to keep learning.
Grounded in her faith and guided by a servant-leadership philosophy, Erica believes leadership ultimately centers on people, impact, and opportunities. She is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, with a particular commitment to creating environments in which women and emerging leaders can see possibilities for themselves, develop their voices, and confidently pursue new opportunities.
Beyond her professional work, Erica’s greatest source of purpose is her family. She is a devoted wife of 37 years and proud mother of three remarkable young women, roles that have profoundly shaped how she approaches leadership, mentorship, and success.

Energy Futures Group
Nina Peluso is a Senior Consultant at Energy Futures Group (EFG), where she supports nonprofit and governmental clients in utility resource planning, ratemaking, and siting cases. She serves as an expert advisor on the integration of new large load customers, utility resource planning processes, and the cost and risk of critical infrastructure investment from a community and consumer perspective.
