The newly launched Up-and-Comers page provides a point of contact for all of the rising professionals in NEWIEE, as well as for those new professionals who are interested in learning more about the organization.
For those unfamiliar with NEWIEE’s Rising Professional group, this group offers opportunities for professional and personal growth for new energy and environmental professionals through educational and networking events. Since its creation in 2019, despite the disruption of the pandemic, the group has held a wide range of events including:
- MassCEC Wind Technology Testing Center Tour
- Graduate School Panel held at the Greentown Labs
- Working Toward a Better Normal: A Generational Discussion, a joint event with NEWIEE’s New Hampshire Chapter
- Virtual Happy Hour Trivia
- Virtual Movie Night
In addition to our more informal happy hour events, the Rising Professionals strive to sponsor 2-3 events per year. Now, all new Rising Professional events can be found on the Up-and-Comers page.
You can also find resources such as the NEWIEE Jobs Board and Mentorship through NEWIEE, the website matchup portion of NEWIEE’s Mentorship Program.
