NEWIEE Up-and-Comers
The Rising Professionals Committee provides support to those early in their careers or new to the industry, with participation welcomed from all offers opportunities for personal and professional development of energy and environmental professionals through leadership, education, and access to a network of accomplished peers. Events and activities hosted by the Rising Professionals include monthly meet ups, panels with industry experts, professional development webinars, and in-person social events. NEWIEE On Campus coordinates outreach and panel discussions by NEWIEE members to students across New England. These events aim to provide current students with insight into the multiple career pathways in the energy and environmental industry, and the chance to connect personally with professionals in the field. NEWIEE’s Mentorship Program aims to connect New England women in the fields of energy and the environment to share expertise and information across all career stages. Each session runs for 5-7 months.
NEWIEE’s Peer Circles Program is intended to provide a platform for matching groups of individuals in the energy and environmental sectors, giving them the opportunity to learn from, connect with, and support each other through discussions and activities.
