NEWIEE & CPES: The Role of Long-Duration Storage on the Road to Decarbonization

Join NEWIEE and the Connecticut Power and Energy Society (CPES) for our ninth annual joint event on Tuesday, September 19! This panel discussion will feature leaders from Massachusetts and Connecticut discussing long-duration storage and its role as New England works toward a decarbonized electric system.
Energy storage is one of the most crucial and complex challenges of the clean energy transition. To meet Massachusetts’ and Connecticut’s ambitious decarbonization goals, long-duration storage technologies will need to be commercially ready, at scale, in the next decade. Join NEWIEE and CPES to explore the complex trade-offs in cost, feasibility, scalability, and carbon reduction associated with storage from our esteemed panelists who have been actively tackling these challenges.
