New Hampshire Chapter Night – Tour and Networking

March 27, 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Join the NH Chapter at Unitil’s Seacoast Operations Center in Exeter, NH. The tour begins at 4:15 PM, and networking begins at 5 PM. We’ll meet Sara Sankowich, Unitil’s Director of Sustainability and tour the operations center, a 54,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, LEED and WELL certified facility. The operations center is home to Unitil’s Seacoast electric distribution operations including Forestry, Engineering, and Dispatch teams. During major weather events, the facility also serves as the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for the region and supports preparation, damage assessment, public safety, and restoration efforts. (Event capped at 25 people.)

Western New England Chapter Night – Field Trip

Please join NEWIEE’s Western New England Regional Chapter for a tour of the ISO New England Master Control Center located in Holyoke, MA. ISO New England is the independent, not-for-profit organization authorized by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to oversee the day-to-day operation of New England’s electric power generation and transmission system, administer the region’s competitive wholesale electricity markets, and manage comprehensive regional power system planning. Following the tour, an informal gathering will occur at Iron Duke Brewing. (Event capped at 20 people.)
