NEWIEE’s 2022 Annual Meeting & Fall Fête

Save the date for NEWIEE’s Annual Meeting and Fall Fête, to be held at District Hall in Boston on Thursday, November 17, 2022. The annual meeting will be held at 4:30 pm, followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 pm.
At the end of the Annual Meeting, we will be hearing from the Dearborn STEM Academy, and will be collecting donations of professional clothing for their students participating in Work Based Learning opportunities. All attendees who donate clean and ready-to-wear professional attire (e.g., business casual clothing for both males and females, slacks, button-ups) in any size will be entered to win a gift card to the NEWIEE store!

By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to the following terms, procedures, and protocols:
A. COVID-19 Protocol:
NEWIEE is committed to holding a safe event and will continuously monitor public health trends to ensure all measures are taken to ensure a safe event. Ticket holders will need to demonstrate:
- That they have received the primary series of the COVID-19 vaccination. A booster(s) is not required but recommended. Vaccination status will be checked upon registration by showing either electronic or paper proof of vaccination.
- Proof of a negative COVID test (rapid antigen or PCR) within 48 hours of the event (test taken after 4:30 pm on Tuesday, November 15th). Demonstration of a negative COVID test can be provided in the form of either (a) a photo of the rapid test with the name of attendee and date written on test strip, or (b) a copy (electronic, photo or paper) of PCR results with name and date of test clearly visible.
Photos or electronic documents can be simply shown on your phone upon registration.
Please stay home if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
NEWIEE reserves the right to require additional safety protocols based on public health outlooks and conditions.
B. VIDEO/PHOTO Consent
NEWIEE may take event photographs and/or video, which typically include attendees, for use in NEWIEE-generated and electronic materials. Your attendance at any NEWIEE event grants permission for NEWIEE to use these photographs and/or video in its informational, marketing, and public relations outreach efforts, without the need for further consultation with you.
C. CODE OF CONDUCT
NEWIEE is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate the harassment of participants in any form. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of NEWIEE. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact one of the event organizers immediately, or report it to newiee@newiee.org.
NEWIEE may on occasion take photographs and/or video of event attendees for use in print materials or by electronic methods. Your attendance at any NEWIEE event grants permission for NEWIEE to use these photographs and/or video in its marketing and public relations efforts. Would you like to volunteer to host, speak, sponsor, give a tour, or suggest a NEWIEE event idea? Email Programming Co-Chairs and NEWIEE Directors, Sarah Adams and/or Vivian Kimball. Have an event you would like to cross-promote? Send a short description and related link to Jennifer MacNeil at least 6 weeks prior to your event to ensure that it will be posted in our monthly Friends-of-NEWIEE blast.
